Sidecar now offering medical marijuana delivery

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A popular on-demand ride company is now offering medical marijuana delivery.

According to CNET, Sidecar has formally launched the service in San Francisco.

Drivers promise to deliver medical marijuana within one hour after an order is placed at a dispensary.

They'll only deliver up to an ounce per customer.

Sidecar says drivers will keep the pot locked up and will never carry more than 4 oz. in a vehicle.
