SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There's a new resident at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.

The museum shared pictures of the new African penguin. The healthy male chick will soon go to fish school, that's where he will learn how to swim and eat before joining the rest of the penguin colony on exhibit.

Visitors can view the rest of the penguin colony anytime on a live webcam, where live feedings are broadcast twice a day at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
