CAMPBELL, Calif. (KGO) -- Campbell police tracked down a suspected bank robber quickly, just minutes after it happened, on Tuesday.
At 3:30 p.m. they arrested 56-year-old transient Mark Flanigan just down the street from the U.S. Bank on South Bascom Avenue.
Police say he had $1,200 on him that was taken from the bank.
They also tweeted out a picture of the beer can he was holding when they made the arrest. It's a Steel Reserve 211.
The tweet said the irony is that 211 is the penal code for a robbery.
