Car slams into Mexican restaurant in Redwood City

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- Redwood City police are investigating a crash after a car went flying into a Mexican restaurant.

The accident occurred on Middlefield Road and Douglas Avenue. The car slammed into La Chapina shortly after 8 a.m. Investigators say the driver of the gray sedan lost control after getting into an accident with another car. One of the drivers was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be ok. No one was inside the restaurant at the time.
