Car slams into building in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- A car slammed into a building in Oakland at 41st and Emerald Streets.

Police said one of their officers tried pulling the car over when the driver sped off. The driver lost control and plowed into the front of the building shattering the front window. This is not far from the Kaiser Oakland Medical Center and Oakland Technical High School.

Police are still investigating.
