Contractors rescue cat trapped in pillar of house under construction

Contractors in Meridian, Idaho were able to rescue a cat that had gotten stuck in a pillar at a home under construction.

Stephan Beynun, one of the contractors working at the construction site, captured video of the contractors cutting open the pillar to help free the trapped cat. They believe the cat may have been stuck for nearly two weeks.

"The builder was completely unaware that there was a cat hiding within the walls before enclosing the pillar," Stephan's wife Cori wrote on YouTube. "We were all happy to see it run free, towards [its] home!"
