Lexus tops Consumer Reports reliability ratings

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- If you're in the market for a new car, we have information that will help keep your family safe on the roads.

Consumer Reports has released its annual findings of the most reliable car brands in America. Lexus takes the top spot for the second year in a row, up next is Toyota and rounding out the top three is Buick Audi and Kia. Of those, the only one that didn't move up in the rankings is Audi.

Consumer Reports" studied over half a million vehicles, taking surveys from drivers who bought or leased them.
