1 killed in 2 vehicle crash on I-280 in Cupertino

CUPERTINO, Calif. (KGO) -- The CHP is investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 280 in Cupertino.

It happened in the southbound direction at the Lawrence Expressway off-ramp.

Two cars were involved. A person inside one of them may have been ejected.

Officers performed CPR on the victim but it didn't work. The CHP shut down the off-ramp, but lanes have since reopened.
