Married couple found shot to death in their Danville home

DANVILLE, Calif. -- Police in Danville are investigating the deaths of a married couple found shot to death inside their San Francisco Bay Area home as a possible murder-suicide.



Danville Police Chief Steve Simpkins says officers were called to a home Monday and upon arrival heard a gunshot.



The officers found 77-year-old Edward Perry dead of a gunshot wound inside the home.



Simpkins says that after searching the house, they also found the body of his wife, Patricia Perry.



He says the 67-year-old woman was shot to death.
