PHILADELPHIA (KGO) -- Thursday night is Hillary Clinton's moment. She's already made history and now it's up to her to close the deal on this final night of the Democratic National Convention.

Clinton faces perhaps the toughest challenge any speaker can face -- following a string of speeches that hit home runs with Democrats.

The first lady touched Democrats' hearts, the vice president got the crowd fired up and the president passed the baton Wednesday night.

"You've got to get in the arena with her, because Democracy isn't a spectator sport. America isn't about 'yes, he will.' It's about 'yes, we can.' And we're going to carry Hillary to victory this fall, because that's what the moment demands," President Obama said.

At the end of the president's last convention speech while in office, there were tears in his eyes. Then there was an embrace with the woman he said is the most qualified person to ever run for the office - including himself and Bill Clinton.

The vice president also spoke and after, told ABC7's sister station in Philadelphia what Clinton needs to say Thursday night.

"She has to let people see her heart a little bit, see her heart. Everybody knows her head. Everybody knows how smart and tough and resilient she is. I hope they get a little glimpse of her heart," Joe Biden said.

Some polls show that Donald Trump had a slight bump from last week's RNC, so Clinton needs to match that bump or go higher. Statistics show that usually the bump you have out of the convention is what you carry on into the general election.
