SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco fire crews were able to knock out a two-alarm brush fire on Yerba Buena island near the Bay Bridge in San Francisco Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out at 3:30p.m. The California Highway Patrol closed the off-ramp from eastbound I-80.
San Francisco Firefighters used a fire boat to put out the two-acre fire giving them a plentiful water supply and easy access.
The fire was contained by about 4:30 p.m. Saturday. No one was injured, and no structures were damaged.
