Family identifies Mark Gassett as 1 of 3 victims in Fresno shooting

1 victim identified in Fresno shooting rampage
The victim killed outside of Catholic Charities in Fresno was 37-year-old Mark Gassett, a husband and a father of two.

FRESNO, Calif. (KGO) -- Three people were killed by a gunman in Central California Tuesday. The identities of the victims have not officially been released by investigators.

The first person who police said was gunned down on Tuesday was a PG&E utility worker sitting in the passenger seat of a truck. Our sister station KFSN reports know the 34-year-old was on his first day out in the field.

Family members identified the second shooting victim to our sister station as 37-year-old Mark Gassett. Gassett had just left the Catholic Charities with a grocery bag full of food when he was shot. They said he was a father and will be missed by many.
