Half Moon Bay nursery fire destroys four greenhouses, cause under investigation
HALF MOON BAY, Calif. (KGO) -- Firefighters in Half Moon Bay spent Wednesday morning putting out a massive fire at a nursery that houses greenhouses in a remote coastal location.
The greenhouses were not being used and were empty. Firefighters were able to save one of the greenhouses.
Fire investigators spent the morning looking at surveillance video but still don't know what started the fire.

The video did help investigators determine what time the fire started, just before 11:00 p.m. last night.
It took crews about an hour to get the fire contained; they had trouble getting water to it.
The nursery is tucked away at the back of a huge piece of property filled with greenhouses along Highway 92 in Half Moon Bay.
Bay City Flowers is renting the property but was not renting the abandoned greenhouses that burned. The property owner was not available to comment.

No one was hurt in the fire.
One worker for Bay City Flowers told ABC7 News there have been issues with homeless people cutting through the land to camp on the hillside behind the property
Firefighters say the case is still under investigation.
