HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) -- A renovated museum of all things Hayward will reopen this weekend.
The Hayward Area Historical Society hopes to connect future generations to the city's past.
"You're going to have a great time looking at a permanent exhibition of memorabilia that talks about Hayward's history," said A.T. Stevens, a spokesperson for the Hayward Area Historical Society. "It's mostly a 20th century recollection. It's a narrative story told first person by many individuals who lived here in the community, and so it's a story that's a people's history in a way of Hayward."
The museum reopens on Saturday and is located at 22380 Foothill Boulevard.
