LOS ANGELES -- Ikea is recalling its Gunggung children's swing because of a fall hazard.

The swing is made of green polyester fabric and hangs from a suspension fitting attached to steel hooks. It's intended for indoor and outdoor use by children ages 3 to 7. The company says the suspension fittings can break, causing a child to fall from the swing.

There have been four reports worldwide of the suspension fittings breaking during use. In one incident, a child fell and fractured a leg. No incidents have been reported in the U.S.

The swings were sold at Ikea stores nationwide and on the company's website from June to August of this year for $20. The Gunggung article number on the label is 302.439.74, and the supplier number is 17915. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Ikea is recalling about 2,000 units in the U.S. and another 300 in Canada.

Consumers can return the recalled swings to any Ikea store for a full refund. Proof of purchase is not required to get the refund, the company said.

Customers can contact Ikea at (888) 966-4532 for more information.
