NEW YORK (KGO) -- The autopsy report on comedy legend Joan Rivers is out. The comedian, who was 81, died Sept. 4. She had been hospitalized since Aug. 28 when she went into cardiac arrest during a routine medical procedure at a doctor's office to check out voice changes and reflux.

The cause of death was low blood oxygen while she was sedated with Propofol, the same anesthetic that pop star Michael Jackson took before his death in 2009.

The medical examiner says her death was a predictable complication from a medical procedure.
