SEATTLE (KGO) -- The National Transportation Safety Board could release its preliminary report on the fatal news helicopter crash of our sister station in Seattle as early as Friday.
The NTSB tweeted a picture of the chopper's wreckage, stored at a secret location in Washington state.
Investigators are reviewing several scenarios to determine what caused KOMO's helicopter to crash near the Space Needle on Tuesday.
The wife and daughter of one of the two men killed say that Bill Strothman was a great husband, father, and photographer. He worked for KOMO for more than 30 years.
"Everybody got to know and love Bill, but I got to marry him," said his wife, Nora Strothman. "I was the really lucky one. And I'm so grateful for that. Really grateful for that."
The family of helicopter pilot Gary Pfitzner, who was also killed, is holding a public memorial on Saturday.
