MadBum should get a diamond studded gold ball

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Everybody is talking about how Madison Bumgarner deserves a lot of the credit for the Giants success.If he were to get a game ball, many believe a designer's diamond studded regulation baseball covered in gold lettering would be it.

It was made by famous San Francisco jeweler Sidney Mobell who also designed a diamond studded giants cap.

Mobell used the hat and ball when he threw out the ceremonial first ball at a game last year.

Mobell says he will donate it to the Smithsonian. In the meantime, the ball is on display at Shreve and Company in Union Square.
