American citizen  describes major terror attack in Mali
We're hearing from an American citizen who survived the major terror attack in the West African nation of Mali on Friday that killed 19 people.

BAMAKO, Mali -- An American citizen who survived the major terror attack in the West African nation of Mali on Friday is sharing his story. The attack killed 19 people.

It happened at a luxury hotel and the victims include a mom from Maryland who was passionately dedicated to health care work in Africa and Asia.

State Department contractor Terry Kemp was one of the 20 Americans at the entrance when the shooting began.
