Report: Strahan to join 'GMA' on part-time basis

NEW YORK (KGO) -- Michael Strahan must have found a few free moments in his schedule, because he's reportedly taking on another job.

Sources say the "Live with Kelly and Michael" host is expected to join the cast of "Good Morning America" at least on a part-time basis. A source says the former New York Giants football star will work semi-regularly during the show's first hour.

'GMA' has lost two male cast members in the past four months: Sam Champion to the weather channel and Josh Elliott to NBC Sports. But, talks with Strahan were reportedly in the works before Elliott's departure.7
