Coast Guard searching for missing swimmer off the coast of Daly City

DALY CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- The US Coast Guard is searching for a 28-year-old man who disappeared while swimming off the coast of Daly City.

San Mateo County firefighters and Daly City police responded to a call of a man stuck in the surf around 3:00 P.M. He was not visible in the water by the time they arrived.

The missing man had been swimming in the rough waters with his brother who safely made it to shore.
