Star Wars Monopoly features female character for first time

The new Star Wars-themed Monopoly game will now include a female character.

Rey -- the lead character played by Daisy Ridley in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be added to the popular board game later this year.

Fans were upset at Hasbro for excluding her from its Monopoly game. The company said it didn't include Rey in its initial version because her character had not yet been publicly revealed.
