San Jose State University names new president

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- The California State University Board of Trustees has named doctor Mary Papazian as the new president of San Jose State University.

She has more than 25 years of teaching and administrative experience, including her current role as president of Southern Connecticut State University.

Papazian will take over at San Jose State July 1.
