Missing Alameda man owes $113 million in get-rich-quick scheme

ALAMEDA, Calif. (KGO) -- Family members organized a search for missing 73-year old John Beck of Alameda.

His family released a photo of him Saturday. They say it's from BART security video. He was last seen at the 12th Street/City Center BART station.

Beck faces a $113 million judgment from the Federal Trade Commission over a get-rich-quick real estate scheme.

Family members say he didn't show up for a scheduled hearing in federal court.
