Sea Scouts rescued from San Francisco Bay need money for repairs

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Leaders of a Sea Scout group whose boat capsized in the Bay on Saturday are raising money to help fix the boat.



One adult and 15 children had to be rescued near Aquatic Park in San Francisco.

They were part of a non-profit group that teaches leadership and nautical skills to young people.



The group estimates it will cost $50,000 to pay for boat repairs and lost gear.
