San Jose fire crews responding to 2-alarm residential fire

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Fire crews are responding to a two-alarm fire at a residential building in San Jose this afternoon, a fire dispatcher said.

The fire was reported at a residential structure in the 5900 block of Fig Grove Court at about 1:10 p.m., the dispatcher said.

The blaze may be at an apartment complex or duplex, she said.

No injuries were reported and no evacuations were called for as of shortly after 1:30 p.m., according to the dispatcher.

No other details about the fire were immediately available.
