KNOW AND TELL: Kitten lured out of drainage pipe with burrito

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- A kitten is doing much better Tuesday morning after being rescued from a pipe in the Central Valley.

The furball was stuck at the end of a drainage pipe in Fresno County. Two officers with the Parlier Police Department say they made meowing noises and used a burrito to lure the trapped kitten closer to them.

It worked!

They posted video and pictures of the rescue on Facebook.

One of the officers says he hopes to adopt the kitten and name him Burrito.
