To help with the drought, two bars in San Francisco say they're offering a discount to customers who order their drinks "neat."

Bond Bar in the Mission and Wish Bar & Lounge in the city's South of Market neighborhood say they'll give customers $1 off if they order a drink without ice. That means beer, wine, shots, and more.

Bond Bar's owner Andrea Minoo estimates more than 60 percent of hard liquor drinks are shaken, stirred, or on the rocks.

"We're not trying to solve the drought problems with ice cubes, you know," she said. "It's really about raising awareness. Instead of having your tequila on the rocks, just have it straight, just shoot it back, and get on with it."

Minoo said glasses of water are still welcome. But if you order one, make sure you finish it.
