African-American art exhibit on display at The De Young Museum in SF

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco is recognized for having one of the best collections of American art. Except that, something has been missing.

Starting June 2nd The De Young Museum will display works of art that make up an important part of America's heritage and culture. The question is why did it take so long?
