SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Californians are thinking earthquake preparedness on Monday, the 27th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake.

The 6.9 magnitude quake rocked the Bay Area, killing 63 people and causing more than $7 billion in damage.
