Post office in San Francisco's Tenderloin replaces torn, tattered flags

Brand new flags are flying at a post office in San Francisco's Tenderloin.

ABC7 News reporter Lyanne Melendez spent Tuesday looking into accusations that the post office had taken weeks to replace two battered flags, despite complaints from the community.

A Muni employee who complained said he was told the flags were on backorder. Then the next day, on Wednesday, ABC7 News returned and found the torn flags had been replaced with brand new ones.
