Nipomo girl raises $10,000 for children of fallen firefighters

NIPOMO, Calif. (KGO) -- A little girl from Nipomo has so far raised $10,000 to buy Christmas presents for the children of fallen firefighters.

Faye Segraves' father is a Cal Fire firefighter who's been away this month battling the Thomas Fire.

She first wanted to donate her allowance after hearing a firefighter died on the frontlines.

Her mother then started an online fundraising campaign through the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
