Person with BB gun sparks police response in Marin County

GREENBRAE, Calif. -- A report of a man with a gun in a medical office on Bon Air Road in Greenbrae turned out to be an employee with a BB gun and there is no danger to the public or to two schools in the area, according to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

Marin Catholic High School at 675 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Anthony G. Bacich Elementary School at 699 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. were locked down after the report of a man with a gun around 11:55 a.m.

The Central Marin Police Authority will release more information on the incident this afternoon, according to the sheriff's office.
