Police search for suspects accused of sexually assaulting UC Davis student

DAVIS, Calif. (KGO) -- Police are searching for three men accused of sexually assaulting a female UC Davis student at a city park Thursday night.

Officials said the victim met her attackers at a downtown bistro.

Then, they allegedly took her to Davis Community Park where they attacked her. "These cases are very challenging to investigate and even more so challenging to prosecute, but we take them very seriously and investigate them thoroughly," Davis Police Department Lt. Paul Doroshov said.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen anything to call Davis police.
