Power restored to thousands of customers in oakland, orinda

OAKLAND, Calif. -- PG&E crews have restored service to more than 10,000 customers impacted by a power outage in Oakland and Orinda Sunday evening, a utility spokesman said.



The outage was reported at 5:58 p.m. and initially impacted about 10,800 customers, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.



Service was restored to all customers shortly before 7:30 p.m., Guidi said.



The cause of the outage remains under investigation.
