SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A huge crowd gathered along San Francisco's waterfront to watch the fireworks Saturday night. They could hear them, but seeing them was a little more challenging.
From Pier 39 to the Marina Green, four barges in the bay launched 10,000 fireworks from tubes controlled by computers.
Patriotic precision was half-obscured by the fog. A lot of people gave up and left after only five minutes.
