'Real Housewives' star Kim Richards arrested at Beverly Hills Hotel

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards was arrested early Thursday after causing a disturbance at Beverly Hills Hotel.

Authorities responded to the hotel on a report of a possible fight around 1:30 a.m. Officers arrived and took Richards into custody at about 2 a.m.

"Ms. Richards was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior, cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest," police said in a statement.

Once she was taken to the police station to be booked, Richards apparently kicked one of the officers in the leg.

The television personality was released at 10:36 a.m. and issued a citation for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer.
