The real estate magnate sold his 6,200-square-foot apartment on the 24th floor of his 32-story Trump Park Avenue tower for $21 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. The business mogul and 2016 Republican presidential candidate originally asked $35 million for the apartment back in 2013, and rejected an offer to rent out the pad for $80,000 per month.
The 5-bedroom, 7.5-bath home is more modest than the gold-plated real estate that Trump is typically known for, but still offers luxurious amenities like Italian brass doorknobs and a kitchen with marble floors and counter tops. Trump never actually lived in the apartment, listing agent Michelle Griffith of Trump International Realty told The Wall Street Journal.
