Redwood City crews work to repair water main break

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- The Redwood City Police Department reports a water main break has occurred in the area of 2nd Avenue and Rolison Road.

The break was initially reported at 7:30 a.m., and police officials estimate repairs could take several hours.

Water to tenants in an apartment building at 1102 2nd Ave. has been shut off.

Both PG&E and Redwood City water crews are on scene, working to fix the problem.
