SF police investigating fatal crash in Sunset District

SAN FRANCISCO -- A death has been reported in a collision between a motorcyclist and vehicle just south of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco this morning, police and fire officials said.

The collision was reported at 9:39 a.m. and occurred in the area of 15th Avenue and Lincoln Way in the city's Sunset District, police said.

First responders performed CPR on the male victim but he was pronounced dead at the scene, fire spokeswoman Jen Balestrieri said.
