SAN JOSE -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in San Jose Monday night.
At 9:25 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooter in the 5200 block of Monterey Road, police said.
When officers arrived, the found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to police.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting, police said.
The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time and the suspect remains at large, according to police.
