Police ask for help in identifying shooting, home invasion suspects

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Police in San Jose are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects who shot a man during a home invasion robbery last week.

Officers responded at 11:40 a.m. last Thursday to a report of a person shot in the 300 block of Greenpark Way.

Officers discovered the homeowner had been shot by one of three suspects, police said. The victim was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The suspects fled the area in a vehicle described as a blue four-door Honda Accord.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 17 to 20 years old who is between 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall and wore black thick-rimmed prescription glasses, a black shirt and black pants. Police said he has scratches on his lips and walks with a limp.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s who is heavy set, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 200-plus pounds and wore a black shirt and blue jeans. His left calf is sleeved with tattoos.

The third suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a slim build who wore a white T-shirt.
