Michelle Obama presents San Jose museum with National medal

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- First lady Michelle Obama presented the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose with the country's highest honor for museums.

The Institute of Museum and Library Services awarded The Tech, its national medal.

The award celebrates museums and libraries that present extraordinary and innovative approaches to public service.

The museum is one of 10 institutions to earn the honor.
