If you've ever wanted to leave your mark in outer space, now's your chance. NASA is letting people name craters on Mercury.
The Messenger orbiter has spent the last three years mapping the planet's surface. Now, NASA is taking suggested names from the public to keep track of them, but there are rules.
Craters can only be named after people considered historically significant in the arts for more than 50 years and they can only be honored posthumously.
Craters cannot be named after living people or anyone who was alive in the last three years.
