SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- NOAA is offering everyone above water a new look at a rare jellyfish.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released video showing a "cosmic jellyfish" spotted during an expedition in the Pacific near American Samoa on February 21st.
Researchers say the sea creature showed a perfectly relaxed arrangement of two sets of tentacles that allow for optimum feeding in water nearly 10,000 feet deep.
