VIDEO: Man fulfills dream of becoming firefighter on 97th birthday

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (KGO) -- Bill Grun says he's wanted to be a firefighter all his life. On his 97th birthday, that wish finally came true.

Firefighters surprised Bill. They showed up at his retirement home during his birthday celebration and told him to look out the window.

He then went on a ride in the fire truck!

Firefighters say they were happy to help fulfill Bill's lifelong dream.
