Connecticut dad in the U.S. Army returns home and surprises 9-year-old daughter at school

A soldier returned home to surprise his daughter and made national headlines in an emotional video of the reunion.

Army Lt. Col. Gordon Moon wasn't supposed to be back in Connecticut until Christmas. But when he got three days off he flew home from his post in Kuwait.

Lt. Col. Moon's daughter's principal set up the surprise at the school's Veterans Day Celebration.
