In a blockbuster trade, the Green Bay Packers traded receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders. The move comes just days after Packers QB Aaron Rodgers signed a lucrative four-year contract extension to stay in Green Bay.
In the deal, the Packers receive the Raiders' first-round pick (No. 22 overall) and second-round pick (No. 53), according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Adams will sign a five-year contract with Las Vegas averaging $28.5 million a year.
Adams is reunited with Fresno State Bulldogs teammate and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. He's the latest star to join a now-loaded AFC West Division via trade. The Denver Broncos acquired Russell Wilson in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Chargers traded for pass-rusher Khalil Mack from the Chicago Bears.
