Bomb squad gives all clear after Milpitas Walmart evacuated

MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- The bomb squad has given the all-clear at a Milpitas Walmart after an evacuation.

Police were called to the store around 6:15 Friday night after a suspicious device was found. Shoppers were forced to leave during peak shopping hours.

Investigators believe the package was fireworks.

A bomb-sniffing dog is now searching the entire store just to be safe.
