Free Taproot workshop for non-profits held at ABC7

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Some local non-profit organizations, doing great work in the Bay Area came to ABC7 for a free workshop on Tuesday.

ABC7's parent company, Disney, is joining forces with the Taproot Foundation. The goal is to connect non-profits with professionals offering free work, including marketing and tech help.

"We bring professionals for marketing, HR, IT, a lot of that capacity building help that non-profits really need but don't necessarily have a lot of access too," said Meg VanWagner, Taproot Foundation.

Tuesday's session was called "Powered by Pro Bono".
